Development of innovative curricula and modules in Circular Economy and Sustainable Development

Partner universities from Turkmenistan successfully hosted an online meeting under Work Package 7 (Piloting) of the Erasmus+ CirculEC Project - "Development of Innovative Curricula and Modules in Circular Economy and Sustainable Development." The event brought together Turkmen partner institutions, EU universities, and Central Asian colleagues to review progress in piloting newly developed circular economy modules.

Meeting Highlights

• Project status updates were presented by CirculEC coordinators, including an overview of piloting activities and next implementation steps.
• EU partners (FHM, UNINA, USC) shared interim results from classroom piloting and provided expert feedback.
• Turkmen universities (TSIEM and TSIF) reported progress on bachelor's, master's, and lifelong learning modules.
• Constructive discussion between EU and Turkmen partners addressed module quality, challenges, and recommendations.
• The meeting ensured alignment with Erasmus+ CBHE standards and strengthened cooperation between all participating institutions.

The WP7 online meeting was successfully implemented, demonstrating strong engagement from both EU and Turkmen partners. The piloting phase continues to play a crucial role in bringing CirculEC's new interdisciplinary modules into real teaching environments-supporting Central Asia's transition toward a circular, sustainable future.
