Dear Subscriber,

We are thrilled to announce our upcoming study visit to Europe, where we will be exploring the concepts of Circular Economy (CE) and sustainable practices. From 18 April to 6 May, 2024, two representatives from D.SERIKBAYEV EAST KAZAKHSTAN TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY, SH.UALIKHANOV ATYNDAGY KOKSHETAU MEMLEKETTIK UNIVERSITETI, THE TURKMEN STATE INSTITUTE OF ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT, TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY OF TAJIKISTAN, ALIKHAN BOKEIKHAN UNIVERSITY TOSHKENT SHAHRIDAGI XALQARO WESTMINSTER UNIVERSITETI TAJIK STATE UNIVERSITY OF COMMERCE CENTRAL ASIAN UNIVERSITY MCHJ, KARAGANDA UNIVERSITY OF KAZPOTREBSOYUZ TURKMEN STATE INSTITUTE OF FINANCE will embark on this transformative experience, visiting prestigious institutions in Germany, Spain, and Italy.

The first stop on our journey will be the FHM in Bielefeld, Germany, where we will dive into the world of CE and its implementation. We will then move on to the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, followed by the University of Naples Federico II in Naples, Italy. Each institution will host us for two days, providing a unique opportunity to learn from EU partners who have successfully integrated CE disciplines into their curriculum.

Our primary objective is to equip professors from the Central Asia region (CA) with the knowledge and skills needed to introduce and sustain CE practices in their own institutions. To achieve this, a comprehensive "Masterclass on Circular and Sustainable Economy" is developed. This masterclass will serve as a platform to share best practices and engage in interactive learning sessions. It consists of three key components:

1. Creating the Masterclass materials and contents: Our experienced facilitators have meticulously curated a collection of resources, case studies, and practical examples that highlight the benefits and challenges of implementing CE. These materials will form the foundation of masterclass.

2. Planning and organizing the Masterclass: EU team of UNIVERSIDAD DE SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA, UNIVERSITA DEGLI STUDI DI NAPOLI FEDERICO II and UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCE FHM have put significant effort into designing an engaging and dynamic program for the masterclass. From interactive workshops to panel discussions, we aim to create an immersive learning environment that stimulates critical thinking and promotes collaboration among participants.

3. Preparing materials for CA professors: As part of commitment to long-term success, EU parnters will provide CA professors with a wealth of teaching resources that they can utilize in their own classrooms. These materials will empower to effectively teach CE concepts and inspire their students to become the next generation of sustainability champions.

We are excited to announce that the Masterclass will be hosted in the EU by our esteemed partners. This will not only provide an invaluable opportunity to learn from experts in the field but will also foster cross-cultural exchanges and networking among participants from different regions.
