Every year on November 23, the Republic Tajikistan celebrates the National Flag Day. Although this day is officially a working day, a series of events take place throughout Tajikistan. Events such as: solemn meetings, marathons, sports races as well as a lot of roundtables dedicated to discussions about history and significance of state symbols of the Republic are held.

On November 23, on the occasion of the celebration of the National Flag Day, a solemn meeting was held at the Tajik State University of Commerce where the Vice-rector for Science and Innovation, Doctor of Economics, Prof. Rajabov delivered a welcoming speech.

Moreover, Prof. Jabborov A., told about the historical moments of formation of the state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and the meaning of each color, the golden crown in the center of the flag and seven five-pointed stars symbolizing the flag of RT. Then a second-year student Shodieva Umeda made a presentation on the topic: The national flag of Tajikistan - as a symbol of freedom and prosperity of the state which is the pride of the people of RT.
