An international perspective is a core element of our university’s activities, because the knowledge that forms the basis of the curriculum is generated worldwide.The University endeavours to give a greater international dimension to its academic programmes by inviting foreign professors and sending university’s professor and staffs to deliver courses of lectures. Moreover, student and staff do not only mature their stay but they also gain in competences often summarized as soft or key skills like intercultural awareness, adaptability, flexibility, innovativeness, proactivity, motivation, endurance, problem solving ability and being able to work productively in a team. 

The Tajik State University of Commerce (TSUC) encourages, on a permanent basis, the academic mobility of students and academic staff to various academic centers abroad. Cultural diversity and the different teaching methods utilised by foreign professors, together with the use of a foreign language, constitute an important added value for the development of students’ skills and abilities, while also contributing towards their human and professional growth.

      WHAT DOES THE ACADEMIC MOBILITY PROGRAMMES OF THE TSUC DO?

•        Cooperating with more than 50 partner universities worldwide and continually expanding the network
•        Promoting student mobility with the EU’s ERASMUS+ and Erasmus Mundus (TEMPUS) programme and joint study programmes
•       Promoting student mobility with the Commonwealth of Independent States, Asian countries and Pacific’s collages programme and joint study programmes
•        Supporting incoming students
•        Advising outgoing students and monitoring their progress during their semester abroad
•       Accrediting academic performance abroad

ACTIVE MOBILITY WITHIN BILATERAL AGREEMENT

Since 2012, more than 100 students of our university have successfully studied and obtained their BA and MS degree through bilateral signed agreements at the following universities:

•   Kemyang University, South Korea (28 BA students, 2012-2016 academic years);
•  Karaganda Economic University in Kazpotrebsoyuz, Kazakhstan (2 BA students for spring semester in 2015-2016);
•  Management University of Almaty, Kazakhstan (4 BA students for spring semester in 2015-2016 academic years for undergraduate program);
•  Belarusian Trade and Economics University of Consumer Cooperatives, Gomel (1 BA student for fall semester in 2015-2016 academic years)
•  Belarusian Trade and Economics University of Consumer Cooperatives, Gomel (35 MS program in 2009-2016 academic years)
•  Universities of Poland (Warsaw, Krakow, Lodz, Olsztyn, etc.) (attended 12 postgraduate junior and senior teacher within the Government of Poland program in 2012-2016 academic years)
• Sumy State University, Ukraine (1 MS student in 2009-2010 academic years)
•  Poltava University of Economics and Trade of Ukraine (1 MS student in 2011-2013 academic years)
•  Siberian University of Consumer Cooperation, Novosibirsk (5 students for MS program in 2012-2016 academic years)
