Collaboration with the University of Nebraska within the UniCEN project

Tajik State University of Commerce has established mutually beneficial cooperation with universities in the CIS, Asia and Europe, including the University of Nebraska in Omaha (the United States) in the framework of the UniCEN Project (collaboration between universities of Central Asia and the United States).

On December 9, within the framework of the project, the next online lecture by Dr. Connie Shaffer from the University of Nebraska on the topic “Higher Education Response to COVID-19” was delivered for TSUC faculty.

During the online lecture, teachers from TSUC and the University of Nebraska exchanged views on the learning process, attracting students to active learning, and other ways to increase their interest in learning during COVID-19. At the end of the seminar, participants expressed their views and opinions on these issues.

In the framework of the UniCEN project and the developed plan, professors from the University of Nebraska will conduct a series of online lectures on topical issues for TSUC Faculty.

on November 4, 24 participants, including teachers of the Department of English language and Intercultural relations and the Department of World Economy and International Relations, took part in the first online lecture “Engaged Teaching in Age of Coronavirus” by Professor Asta Reif were awarded certificates.
