On August 17, 2020, in the assembly hall of the university, Vice-Rector for Teaching and Educational Work, Associate Professor Tolibov Q.Q., Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Quality Management, Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor Sharipov F.R., teachers and students listened to the speech of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon on Knowledge Day.

Then Tolibov Q.Q. congratulated teachers and students, in particular freshmen of the university, on the beginning of the new academic year and stressed that they must have a high culture and spirituality, be responsible, observe the rules of student life, as well as the rules of hygiene and social distance, in connection with the COVID-19 situation. At the end of his speech, he wished the students success in the new academic year.

It should be noted that the students listened with great interest and enthusiasm to the live broadcast of the speech of the Leader of the Nation not only in the assembly hall, but also in the classrooms of the university faculties.

On the same day, in honor of the Knowledge Day, the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan Dilovar Kodirzoda met with the teachers and students of the university. The meeting was opened by Vice-Rector for Science and International Relations Prof. Kadyrova Z.H., who congratulated participants on the Knowledge Day and the new academic year and gave the floor to Dilovar Kodirzoda.

Mr. Kodirzoda conveyed to the audience the instructions of the esteemed President of the Republic in order to increase and improve the quality of education at the level of higher education and science, and noted that today's complex and turbulent world has confronted the people of the planet with grave problems and contradictions, the most dangerous of which are international terrorism , radicalism and religious extremism, drug trafficking, weapons and the spread of infectious diseases. In this regard, he urged that in such conditions, mentors and teachers, parents, representatives of the intelligentsia, authoritative and experienced people are obliged to direct and train adolescents and youth to study sciences and equip them with knowledge, master professions and crafts, educate them in the spirit of sincere love for homeland, their independent state and readiness to defend national and state interests.

At the end of the meeting, Prof. Kadyrova Z.H. assured the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Tajikistan that the close-knit team and students of TSUC with high responsibility will contribute to the fulfillment of the instructions of the President in the field of education and science, and educate university students to be faithful to the ideas of national statehood, and prepare them for the process of information psychological clashes of the modern world, then once again congratulated the participants on the Knowledge Day and the beginning of the 2020-2021 academic year and wished them success.
