On May 7, 2018 a solemn event on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the Victory Day was organized at the Tajik State University of Commerce.

 The Rector of the TSUC, Prof. Faqerov Hamidullokhon Nuriddinovich in his speech congratulated the audience with the Victory Day and noted the universal historical significance of the victory in the Second World War as well as the contribution of Tajik people to the victory. He also noted importance of preserving the memory of the heroic deed of people who liberated the world from fascist ideology and encouraged the youth to take an active part in achieving prosperity, unity and peace in Tajikistan.  Next, Mr. Shodmon Narziqulov a 92-year old Second World War veteran, invited to the salmon event, shared his own memory of the War and other Tajiks who played a crucial role in the victory over Fascism. The event ended with patriotic songs about peace, homeland and friendship.
