We want to make the international admissions process as smooth as possible for students applying to The Tajik State University of Commerce from outside of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The application procedure varies for undergraduate and postgraduate students, so we publish separate information for each.

Undergraduate:

For your application to be successful, you will need to satisfy our general entry requirements and also the requirements of your chosen course. Individual departments may require additional qualifications of their candidates, and enrolment limitations usually mean that successful applicants possess qualifications that considerably exceed the minimum requirements.

Graduate requirements:

Master’s degree

- Four-year Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 (B average) in the last 60 credit hours of study
- Degree granted by university of recognized standing

Ph.D.’s degrees

The University offers 3-year and 4-year PhD programmes. Applicants who have a good Bachelor’s degree with honours and/or a taught Master’s degree will be considered for admission to a 4-year PhD programme, whereas those who already hold a research Master’s degree will only be considered for admission to a 3-year PhD programme. Candidates for 4-year PhD programme will be required to follow an approved course of study and research, including coursework on discipline-specific knowledge, language and research skills.
