Today (January 9, 2021) in the assembly hall of the Tajik State University of Commerce, the report of the rector of TSUC Kurbonzod Mahmadali Rakhmat on the results of the university's scientific and educational activities in 2020 and on the tasks for 2021 was heard.

In his speech, Kurbonzoda Mahmadali elaborated on the issues of improving the quality of education, training highly qualified specialists for the labor market, passing international accreditation, maintaining the university's position in the top five universities in the country, effective use of information and communication technologies, publishing textbooks, strengthening educational work, organizing scientific and cultural competitions and events, material and social support for people with disabilities and orphans, as well as other important and urgent problems of the university.

Following and supporting the wise and far – sighted social policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity-the Leader of the nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, the Rector of the University approved the following:

– from January 1, 2021, to increase the salary of all employees of the university by 5%;

– from January 1, 2021, to exempt teachers and staff of the university living in the hostel from paying for accommodation in the hostel.

At the end of the meeting, the rector answered questions and expressed hope that the university staff will increase their achievements in 2021 and will celebrate the 30th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Tajikistan with dignity.
